Kidzz Helping Kidzz is in full swing with our 2021 toy drive to brighten the lives of at least 5000 kids who will be spending Christmas in the Hospital.
Our First Toy Collection Box Decorating Party Of The Year
We just had our first toy collection box decorating party where we put new posters and signs on our boxes. The kids from our Advisory Board showed up and brought friends to the party. Our house filled up quickly with the 95 toy collection boxes as our crew worked. Constant sounds of packaging tape being pulled off roles to cover the boxes could be heard for hours. There was lots of laughter as young kids played in the boxes and hide from one another. There was lots of cheering as we completed the work!
In 2019, Kidzz Helping Kidzz had 48 toy collection boxes that went out to local business, schools and churches in the community. Currently, we have requests for 84 toy collection boxes and this number is increasing each day.
We also had the wonderful gift of meeting a 7 year old girl who received one of our Kidzz Helping Kidzz toys while she was in the hospital during our last toy drive. Having this child attend and participate in our party was incredibly rewarding. She told me that she wanted to give back to our organization by helping volunteer her time with our toy drive so we can serve more kids in the hospital!
